Dwight Yorke, Dissatisfied with Man Utd Transfers

Dwight Yorke, a former attacker for Manchester United, has criticized the club for passing up on Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney.

This summer, Manchester United made some significant additions to their roster, including Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund, and Sofyan Amrabat.

Erik ten Hag’s squad has had a shaky start to the current Premier League season, losing to both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur despite the addition of several new players.

However, Yorke believes Man United should have signed Tierney, who left Arsenal to join Real Sociedad on loan during the final week of the summer window.

“I’m not really happy with Man United’s transfer window business,” Yorke said to Genting Casino.

Looking at where Manchester United now stands as a team, we haven’t made any splashy signings. Despite his injury history, I enjoy Kieran Tierney’s high level of enthusiasm and believe we passed on him at the wrong time.

We’ve added a true striker to our squad, but I believe the manager has faith in his current group and must maximize their potential. I think he’s pleased with the team, and we’ll have to wait and see what develops.
