Thirty inmates have been released from jail permanently thanks to Chief Judge Justice Kulu Aliyu of Zamfara State.

Justice Aliyu urged the exonerated felons to turn their lives around and find productive ways to contribute to society.

The central correctional facility in Gusau freed the inmates.

Those who were freed include both death row convicts and others who had been convicted of or were awaiting trial for a variety of offenses.

Director of State Litigation Barrister Aisha Jibril has stated that the Chief Judge has warned those who have been granted clemency to alter their behavior.
