Real Madrid would be making a dream signing if they signed Victor Osimhen, according to former Italy player Gianfranco Zola.
Reportedly leading the fight for Osimhen’s transfer away from Napoli are reports of interest from Chelsea, Zola’s previous club.
Napoli may be compelled to part with the Nigerian international when his contract expires next summer, with just one year remaining on it.
During the summer, Real Madrid’s star striker Karim Benzema left the club for Saudi Arabia after his contract expired.
Los Blancos allegedly have their sights set on another Frenchman, Kylian Mbappe, but Zola suggested that the LaLiga giants make Osimhen their first recruitment priority.
Notable names include Mbappe, Erling Haaland, and Osimhen, whom I believe would be an excellent addition to Real Madrid’s roster. Zola told Football Italia that Manchester City will not let Haaland depart easily because Mbappe is different from Haaland.
The combination of Mbappe’s charisma and skill makes him a strong candidate, but I think Haaland or Osimhen would be more suited as traditional center forwards, and Mbappe is better suited to the wing position. Each coach has his unique perspective.
On Wednesday night, Osimhen played for Napoli in a UEFA Champions match against Real Madrid.
