“This project is personal to me as a genuine son of Ilorin, Baba Adini of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria, and the Waziri Ngeri of the Ilorin Emirate.”

“This commissioning is a great project for every son and daughter of the Emirate, not only for the legacy of Sheikh Kamalud-Deen but for what we can do as Ilorin Emirate community,” Saraki said in a statement.

He went on to say, “It’s a project for society, and that’s why it’s our project.” That is why I have continued to play my role since it began in 2005 until today.”

The late Sheikh Muhammad Kamalud-Deen Al-Adaby, the first Grand Mufti of Ilorin and founder of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria, created the university.
