The optimistic Leon Balogun Rangers can sustain their impressive run of success when they take on hosts Aberdeen at the Pittodrie on Sunday.

In their last eight games, the Gers have been undefeated.

The defender is eager to get back to work after the international break so that Philippe Clement’s squad can carry on where they left off.

Given that the manager has been with us for six weeks, I believe it was crucial that we had more training time during this international break. Balogun said at a news conference, “I think it has worked incredibly well so far, which has been demonstrated in the performances as well. He wants to get more of his thoughts and philosophy, get it to us clearer.

What a pleasant respite. We still had a sizable contingent here, and we put in time practicing both drills and strategy. I think everyone is excited to get back into the swing of things this weekend.

The Light Blues have seen the 35-year-old in three league games.
