As goalkeeper Altay Bayindir adjusts to life in England, he will receive his opportunities at Manchester United, according to manager Erik ten Hag.
Despite Andre Onana’s another clumsy performance, Ten Hag is taking his time introducing Bayindir.
In Wednesday night’s Champions League match, Galatasaray scored twice and Onana was a culprit for both goals. The final score was 3-3.
During his press conference, Ten Hag was asked about the reason he has not yet played Bayindir, a former goalkeeper for Fenerbahce. He responded, “We are very pleased with Altay. He gets used to the Premier League, which is tough when you’re coming from Turkey. European football is another challenge.”
However, we are really satisfied with that procedure; he is making excellent progress.
“Patience is key, but he’ll get his chances if he works hard and maintains his progress. Then he has to seize this.”
