Newly recruited officers and personnel of the Nigeria Immigration Service are being charged by Anthony Anene, Comptroller of the Kogi State Command, to carry out their jobs without soliciting gratifications.
In Lokoja, during the passing-out parade of the Nigeria Immigration Recruit 2023, Anene delivered the charge.
The freshly enlisted officers were congratulated by him, and he emphasized that the service expects their commitment.
The comptroller also brought to their attention the fact that the Nigeria Immigration Service has a well-established procedure for handling disciplinary matters and a mechanism in place to recognize and reward personnel who excel.
Additionally, he emphasized that the service’s foundation was based on discipline and submission to authority, and he urged them to always align themselves with the long-standing tradition.
Kogi State was the site of approximately 197 recruitment drives.
