The ‘African Rapper Number 1’ singer claimed that Chocolate City co-founder Audu Maikori introduced him to his future wife, Eniola Mafe.

M.I. remarked in the most recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, “When I was ready to marry and I wanted to meet someone, I was like, ‘As a celebrity, how do you meet someone? Who do you go out with? I even tried dating apps but I didn’t meet my perfect woman there. Then I decided to simply ask around. After inquiring about this, Audu [Maikori] mentioned a certain “Eniola Mafe.” And I said, “Well, let’s check it out.” I immediately opened her Instagram page as he was stating it. The woman I envisioned marrying had Afro hair when I was younger. I checked her DP and saw that she was rocking an Afro.

I checked out her profile and was shocked to learn that she is single. Just the fact that she’s a divorcee? This was my initial assumption based on her appearance and stated interests. You know, when you see that kind of opportunity, you go sit up. Now I’m hitting on her. So, I decided to tag along. The following day, she noticed something on my account, commented on it, and began a conversation with me. Once we got talking, we didn’t stop till the conversation ended. When we next talked, we talked for two whole hours. Three hours passed during our third and final conversation.

“When I met Eniola, I understood that I just met someone whose story I wanted to continue to be part of. Marriage is exactly that. From there, everything else is a natural extension.
