Mauricio Pochettino, manager of Chelsea, has disclosed that he disciplined striker Nicolas Jackson after he was suspended from the Premier League.

Jackson was suspended for one game for his fifth yellow card.

Pochettino has been punished for addressing referee Anthony Taylor immediately following their 4-4 draw with Manchester City prior to the international break.

.

He claims, however, that he punished himself after being suspended for disagreeing with officials.

“[Jackson] had to run [for his punishment],” Pochettino told reporters.

“And I am going to pay for dinner because I got suspended and I cannot run, so I prefer to pay.”
