The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has claimed that the Court of Appeal is impeding preparations for a Supreme Court challenge to the Nasarawa State governorship election ruling.

Enokela Orogu, Nasarawa State PDP chairman, expressed the party’s anger on AIT’s Kaakaki Programme, which HEALTHYSPOT101 monitored on Saturday.

Orogu accused the Court of Appeal of impeding access to the judgment copy, which is required for the preparation of the appeal.

.

Despite hearing the verdict, he alleged that the court withheld the document, potentially compromising the appeal date. The PDP chairman questioned the court’s transparency, noting the odd reading of the verdict from a simple piece of paper as an example.

“We approached the Appeal Court for a copy of the judgment in order to prepare for an appeal in the Supreme Court, but they denied us until now, saying it was not ready; we should return on Monday.”

” Why did they come to present the judgment if it wasn’t ready?”

“The judgment, which I prefer to call a joker, was even read on ordinary paper.” This is done on purpose to prevent us from meeting the deadline for filing an appeal.

.

“You can’t hide the truth,” stated Orogu.
