Dutse General Hospital will be getting a solar mini-grid system for the low, low price of N172, 754,158.00, according to the SEC.

Musa noted that the decision of the council was in keeping with Gov. Umar Namadi’s pledge to improve the quality of the state’s general hospitals in order to provide effective healthcare.

The council also authorized the expenditure of N324.8 million for the development, restoration, and improvement of thirty-three small town water supply schemes spread over fourteen constituencies, he added.

A fumigation chamber was to be built at the Maigatari Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in the Maigatari Local Government Area, according to the commissioner, and the council had already given its approval for the contract deal.

.

Musa stated that increasing the state’s hibiscus production is the goal of the planned fumigation chamber.

In addition to satisfying the needs of the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) for exports, the commissioner said that the proposed formation of the chamber was to raise the standard of hibiscus grown in the state.
