On his 61st birthday, Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State paid tribute to Senator Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Senate, calling him a man of extraordinary grace.

According to a statement signed by Oyebanji’s Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, Senator Akpabio’s commitment to serving the people and the younger generation is an inspiration to many political leaders.

The Governor, who praised Akpabio for being a detribalized Nigerian, pointed out that the President of the Senate’s efforts to promote national unity and peace were the reason he garnered such tremendous support throughout his months-long campaign for the position.

He continued by saying that the leadership style that Akpabio exhibited has changed the Red Chamber of the country by rejecting partisanship and welcoming all MPs.

According to Oyebanji, who praised Akpabio as a patriotic Nigerian, a colorful politician, and a visionary leader, the President of the Senate keeps gaining support by promoting policies that benefit the general populace.
