The horrific drone strike on the Tudun Biri hamlet in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State has prompted Vice President Kashim Shettima to ask the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) management to mobilize and offer the essential aid to the victims.

On Thursday, while visiting Kaduna State to offer his sympathies to the government and people, he issued the decree in response to the unfortunate event.

An obviously touched Shettima ordered NEMA to make sure victims get enough relief supplies after seeing what happened in the hospital.

Tudun Biri is a remote village without access to healthcare or education, but the federal government intends to change that, he said.

He went on to say that the Pullako Initiative, spearheaded by President Bola Tinubu, would soon get off, with the dual goals of reviving areas hit hard by insecurity and improving the lives of rural residents.

“The Pullako Initiative will be launched by next month, as the president has approved,” he stated. The President’s one-of-a-kind non-kinetic response to the North West issues is the Pullako Initiative.

“On purpose, we included Niger and Benue States to ensure equity and justice, and the benefiting states are Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Katsina, and Kaduna.”

Standing steadfast against what he called a plan to politicize the situation in order to inflame passions, the Vice President congratulated religious leaders and community elders.
